Why a microfibre mitt instead of a sponge?
Sponges trap grit flat against the paint and drag it along - the classic cause of swirl marks. Deep-pile microfibre draws dirt up into the fibres and away from the surface, so it cleans more effectively and far more safely.
How is it different from the Lamb's Wool and Noodle mitts?
The Microfibre mitt is our all-rounder: the most absorbent and the quickest to dry, with superior dirt pick-up over natural fibre. The Lamb's Wool mitt is the traditional soft-touch choice, and the Noodle mitt's chunky fibres suit heavily soiled cars.
What is the two-bucket method?
One bucket of shampoo, one of clean rinse water. Rinse the mitt in the clean bucket between panels before reloading with suds - so the grit you have just lifted never goes back onto your paintwork.
