What makes Quartz different from a normal wax?
Traditional carnauba waxes give gloss but only sit on the surface for a few weeks. Quartz is infused with SiO₂ ceramic carriers, so it bonds more firmly to the clear coat, lasts longer, and produces tighter water beading.
Is this the same as a professional ceramic coating?
No. Full pro coatings cure to a hard glass-like layer and typically last 2–5 years. Quartz is an at-home ceramic-infused wax — easier to use, no IPA wipe-down, no curing tents, but with much of the same visual impact.
How long does it last?
3–6 months on well-prepared paint, depending on wash frequency, product used and storage conditions.
